Cortina d'Ampezzo

Home of the 1956 Winter Olympics, Cortina d’Ampezzo (known as the Pearl of the Dolomites) is one of the most prestigious and vast ski resorts in Italy, with 120km of skiable terrain.

Cortina is located in northern Italy, in the center of the spectacular mountain ranges of Tofana, Faloria, Cristallo, Pomagagnon and Cinque Torri, all part of the majestic Alps.

The area offers beautiful views, natural parks, never-ending forests, crystal clear rivers and cascading waterfalls. If you are passionate about fly fishing, we can arrange a personal guide (see “Fly fishing”).

In addition to skiing, Cortina offers a wide range of activities during both winter and summer, including hiking, climbing, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding and, of course, world class restaurants and shopping with Gucci, Prada, Cartier and Bulgari shops in the center.

Additionally, Cortina is famous for its festivals and events, both sporting and culturally related events that offer an excuse for the jet-set of the world to meet and greet. In Cortina there’s simply no way anyone will ever get bored.
